1- Explain the two considerations when building a PLN

The first consideration is Accessibility, because in this moment you can use different social networking tools through internet in which you will get necessary help to facilitate the work into the classroom.

The second consideration is Responsibility: this point is very important, because we have our own professional development, therefore we can find the necessary tools for a better learning of our future students and obtain more information.

2- In what way is a PLN a “two way street”?

This means, that not only we have to listen information, if not, to give the necessary support to answer questions or provide any information.

3- Why are teachers responsible for their own professional development?

Because, there isn’t money to provide courses of new technologies and the educators have to have their own professional development and to know new things in which they could be better professionals to give to their students’ new knowledge and all are part of this new society.

4- How does a PLN look like?

There isn’t a specific "look", because each page is designed on the needs of the creator about texts, images or variations of these.

5- What are some tools to keep up with development?

Some tools are: If you want to find quick answers, you can follow blogs such as: Diigo, which is an excellent social networking or Google Reader that is a good choice to revise or to have bookmarks.

6. What are the uses of Diigo and Evernote?
Diigo Excellent social network; a social bookmarking tool.
Evernote Allows to keep images videos and text on a topic in one single place. It is excellent for research.

7. What are other ways of communication for academic institutions?
Skype, for its messaging and video conferences.
Google Wave that is special to communicate among collegues

8. Mention tools to collaborate with others.
Some of them are:
Wiki spaces
Google docs
Google Wave
Illuminate Live
PBworks

9. What is the best tool to learn from other colleagues?
Twitter because it allows people to participate in conversations each day and provides information (a breath of information... not with too much depth).

10. Mention the uses of the typical applications that the speaker has on his browser? (gmail, google reader, evernote, twitter etc)
Hootsuite: Access to feeds on twitter, groups and facebook account and linkedin.
Google Mail: Keeps up with email and also allows to chat message with others 
Google reader: To use blog feeds and newsfeed up to date 
Diigo and Evernote: Capture resources that the user may want to keep
GoogleDocs:  freeware web-based office suite offered by Google within its Google Drive service
Google Wave: Especially to communicate among colleagues
Facebook: Messaging and connecting with others

Twitter: News and real time conversations.
